We’re super bullish about student leaders. They have that elusive DNA— not just for success, but for greatness as innovators, as people who change the world. That’s what they’re already doing as student leaders. We just our own VC best practices. Look-- our day job is to invest in people who make the impossible happen every day. Many of the founders we’ve invested in were already doing that — taking on tall odds -- as student leaders back in college. We fully expect that out of our Young Fellows will emerge a generation of world-changing innovators.
YF: IIR gives student leaders unprecedented access to hi-impact innovation opportunities— to launch themselves as innovators while collaborating with startup founders, corporate C-Suite executives, and investors. Ignite brings data-driven, battle-tested best practices that have helped us operationalize innovation (systemic problem solving at scale) and a culture of everyday customer ownership (malasakit in all things) at the level of each individual. As fresh grads entering the talent marketplace, our Fellows will be a class all their own.
I finished college in 2019 and now beyond my wildest ambitions, I’m in VC. More than any other career, VC is the business of investing in people and empowering their inner superhero. In so many ways, YF:IIR traces my own fast-track growth. In the short run, Fellows will get to fast-track income & career via paid projects, salaried employments, or if you start your own, funding for your innovation venture. Longer term, you will distinguish yourself (resume and credentials) as the highest caliber talent of your generation. That’s precisely what we designed YF:IIR for.

The culmination of your first 100-days as a Young Fellow is through the next xCHANGE where you get to present (or maybe even pitch!) your project (or yourself) to Ignite's Network of startups, corporates, and investors.
